Downing the third...

Have't really put much time into Wulf's epic quest recently, been too busy killing Dragonkin to equip Chaotic Divinity's Hunters and Paladins with better Fire Resistance gear. I decided to get on with it last week.

So on Wednesday, with the help of one of Chaotic Divinity's Warlocks, I finally took down the third Demon, Solenor the Slayer. This only leaves me Artorius The Doombringer in Winterspring to take care of, and if there's one demon that really puts the wind up me, it's that one.

It seems to be an immensely challenging encounter, requiring you to keep a distance of 31-41 yards from the demon in a zone populated with high level and agressive beasts. As mainly a PVE Hunter (and a lazy one at that) I haven't really needed to work on my kiting in the past, this is something I'll need to change. I've made a few attempts on him thusfar, but the best I've managed is 52%.

Are you kiting him down the road? Or down the mob populated hill?

Tip: Wait till he is at the southern most part of his path (before you spawn him). Then spawn him, and kite him through the area towards the road, and then turn onto the road. Kiting him down the road is EASY. Make sure you get extra space right as you turn onto the road though, as this is where he catches you sometimes.
